Château Des Capucins Lalande-de-Pomerol 2022 is a more refined expression from the producer, offering the depth, elegance, and character you would expect from one of Bordeaux’s most respected neighbouring appellations.
This is a vineyard we know personally from our 7 years living in France. During that time, Château Des Capucins became one of those producers we returned to again and again. Their wines have always stood out to us because they offer proper French character, reliable quality, and genuinely fair pricing.
The 2022 Lalande-de-Pomerol has a more premium feel than a standard Bordeaux, with extra richness, structure, and elegance. It is the sort of bottle that feels right for a special meal, a thoughtful gift, or simply when you want something a little more distinguished on the table.
What we like about this wine is that it still feels honest and approachable. It has that classic Bordeaux depth and smoothness, but without feeling overly heavy or complicated. It is a wine with presence, but one that can still be enjoyed easily.
For us, this is a brilliant example of what makes small French producers worth seeking out: quality, charm, and real value. A polished and characterful Lalande-de-Pomerol from a vineyard we know, trust, and have bought from many times.
To keep every bottle in its best condition, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and temperature swings. Always keep bottles upright unless stated otherwise.
Spirits like whisky, bourbon, brandy, and cognac do not spoil.
Because of their high alcohol content, they remain stable for decades once sealed. Simply store them upright, away from heat and light, and they’ll stay perfectly preserved.
Red wine is more delicate than spirits, but easy to care for. To keep it in great condition:
Properly stored, red wine ages gracefully and stays at its best.
White and rosé wines prefer slightly cooler storage:
Sparkling wines are sensitive to heat and light. For best preservation:
Fortified wines last longer thanks to added alcohol:
