Château Des Capucins Bordeaux 2023 is a fresh and approachable French red with a clean, modern presentation and classic Bordeaux character.
This is a vineyard we know personally from our 7 years living in France. During that time, Château Des Capucins became one of those producers we returned to again and again. Their wines have always stood out to us because they offer proper French character, reliable quality, and genuinely fair pricing.
The 2023 vintage has a younger, brighter feel compared with the older 2019 bottles. It is smooth, easy to enjoy, and made in a style that works beautifully for relaxed evenings, family meals, or sharing with guests. It still carries that familiar Bordeaux structure and depth, but with a fresher and more accessible edge.
The newer presentation gives the bottle a polished, up-to-date look while still feeling traditional enough for a proper French red. It is the sort of wine that looks smart on the table without feeling overly formal.
For us, this is not just another Bordeaux. It is a wine from a producer we know, trust, and have bought from many times — a brilliant example of the value and charm still found in small French vineyards.
To keep every bottle in its best condition, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and temperature swings. Always keep bottles upright unless stated otherwise.
Spirits like whisky, bourbon, brandy, and cognac do not spoil.
Because of their high alcohol content, they remain stable for decades once sealed. Simply store them upright, away from heat and light, and they’ll stay perfectly preserved.
Red wine is more delicate than spirits, but easy to care for. To keep it in great condition:
Properly stored, red wine ages gracefully and stays at its best.
White and rosé wines prefer slightly cooler storage:
Sparkling wines are sensitive to heat and light. For best preservation:
Fortified wines last longer thanks to added alcohol:
